Carpet is GONE!

Livingroom

Diningroom

Entry (Matt)

The first floor hardwood is yellow birch we are told. Unfortunately there were two areas that needed patched. After searching we found a mill right here in Muncie that was willing to duplicate the wood. Other than that we sanded and refinished the first floor.

I think your house is beautiful. The floors downstairs are really cool. My sister has floors like it. The planks are only about an inch wide which is unusual as yours is the only other house I've seen with the skinny boards. Also, your kitchen cupboards are great.

    Thanks Patricia

Yes, the floor is different and really pretty. We were really surprised when we took up an area to do some repair and not only is it only about an inch wide but it is only 3/4 in tall. It took us a couple months to find someone willing and able to mill a match.
